High Resolution = Quality

I found early on in becoming proficient with a digital camera that it is vitally important to select a higher resolution on the camera if you want those quality photos. What it means is you will have fewer photos on the flash card. The setting on the camera for this resolution is “Fine.” Other settings will allow for more photos, but the quality won’t be as good. If enlarging a photo, the camera should be on the “Fine” setting. For snapshots that will stay 31/2 X 5

Switching from film to digital

There was a day in my photographing career when you couldn’t bribe me to switch from my safety zone of film. I found that by making a gradual switch, alternating a film camera and a digital camera with the flash card. The film was my back-up naturally. It soon became apparent, the digital would win in my business as storage was a huge factor in making the decision to go digital.
